What age and licence do I need to rent a car?
23 years old or more, and a valid driving licence held for at least 1 year. We accept EU licences and international ones.
Do you accept non-EU licences?
Yes, as long as it is a valid full licence (not a learner's permit) and held for at least 1 year. For licences not in the Latin alphabet, please bring an International Driving Permit.
Is insurance included?
Yes. Third-party liability is included, as is collision damage waiver with an excess. The exact excess and optional zero-excess upgrade are described in the reply email so you can decide.
What is the fuel policy?
Same-to-same. We note the fuel level on delivery and you return the car with the same level. No charge if it matches.
Where can I pick up the car?
Malia (our office), Heraklion airport (HER), Heraklion port, or your hotel in the Malia area. Airport and port delivery is included in the price.
How do I cancel a request?
Reply to the confirmation email, message us on WhatsApp or call us — any time before pickup. Cancellation is free, no questions asked, no fees.
Do you take a deposit?
No deposit is taken through this site. A small refundable deposit may be requested on the day of pickup, depending on the car and the chosen insurance — details come back in the reply email.
Can I add a second driver?
Yes, free of charge. Mention it in the notes field with the second driver's age and years licensed.
Is there a child seat?
Yes. Tell us the child's age and weight in the notes; a baby seat or booster seat is provided free.
How do I pay?
Cash in euros or by card on pickup. We do not take payment through this website.
