These Terms of Use govern your use of the Lirida Car Rentals website ("the website"). For the specific terms that govern vehicle rentals, see the Rental terms page.

2. Acceptance

Browsing and using the website means you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

3. Nature of requests

Submitting the enquiry form does not constitute a confirmed booking. A rental contract is formed only when we confirm price and availability in writing. Payment is taken at vehicle pickup, not through the website.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the website for unlawful or abusive purposes, not to attempt unauthorised access to systems or accounts, not to interfere with security mechanisms, and not to submit false statements in the forms.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the website — texts, images, graphics, logos, code — belongs to Lirida or its licensors and is protected by Greek and European intellectual-property law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

6. Links to third-party sites

The website may contain links to external sites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of third parties.

7. Availability and accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to keep information (fleet, prices, availability) accurate and up to date. We do not, however, guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to make changes without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lirida is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — in particular for death or personal injury, or for damage caused by intent or gross negligence.

9. Consumer rights

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Car-rental services, as transport services performed on a fixed date, are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 3(2)(m) of Greek Law 2251/1994, implementing Directive 2011/83/EU).

11. Dispute resolution — ODR

Greek law applies. The courts of Heraklion, Crete have jurisdiction. Under Regulation (EU) 524/2013 and Directive 2013/11/EU, consumers may use the European Commission's online dispute-resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Our contact email: info@liridarentals.gr.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The "last updated" date appears at the top. Continued use after material changes means you accept them.
